What kind of business do you own?

I don't exactly own a business as of right now, but am working on some ideas. I am however a consultant for several WAHM companies. Everything from Tarts, Candles, Sweets, Adult Products, Mineral Makeup and a bit of this and that. My favorite company is Just Tarts.. ( http://justtarts.wahmweb.com/store/affiliate.asp?aff=111 )

How did you get started in your business?
I got started in wah businesses a little over a year ago. I was looking for an online job and stumbled over the different companies.

Who inspires you?

My son Dakota. He will be 12 on the 27Th of this month. He is ADHD/ODD and even though he struggles with things he never completely gives up. He is the reason I have went back to school. I am also ADHD and am in online college at the U of Phoenix with a psychology major.

What are your goals with your business-5 years down the road?

I hope that I will be able to sale enough products so that I have a decent income. I hope to also have my own business up and going and established with a decent client base and I hope to be working on my masters degree by then as well.

Do you work outside the home?

No, but I really need to... lol... Instead I am starting to promote my businesses more.

What groups online/offline do you belong to?

Offline I am a member of the La Plata Christian Ministries Food Distribution Center ( gee that's a mouth full) LCM is a non profit food bank that serves around 500 individuals a month. ( www.laplatachristianministries.webs.com ) I am also a member of the Atlanta Community Crew here in our little town.

Online, well, there are several. I am on several ning groups..

What kind of business do you own?

I design and make jewelry in a variety of techniques from
metal smithing and lapidary to bead weaving and wire wrapping.

How did you get started in your business?

I bought my teenage daughter a bead kit for her birthday. She decide
it wasn't for her and one night i picked it up and started playing. That
was pretty much it for me lol!

Who inspires you?

small children inspire me. They have total awe for
all the things they see in the world and jump headlong into any project
that interests them.They always just assume they can do it!

What are your goals with your business-5 years down the road?

I would definitely like to do this full time and I would also like to open a
brick and mortar bead store.

Do you work outside the home?

Yes I do

7 Random Things About Me (thank you, Aimee!)

My friend and the owner of Shake Your Bon Bons, Aimee, "tagged" me to answer 7 random things about me, so here we go!

1. I am full of useless trivia-ask me about the Pittsburgh Steelers, hair bands of the 80s and I will probably know it! ;)

2. Both my daughter and I are named after family members-both first and middle names

3. I am self-conscious about my handmade goodies!

4. I still have my Strawberry Shortcake dolls and Cabbage Patch Kids from my childhood as well as other toys!

5. I would like a tattoo of the Steelers logo on my ankle, but too chicken to have it done!

6. I am a procrastinator at times! (hey, I am working on improving in this area!)

7. I also still have my Skid Row record from way back when-yes a RECORD!! LOL
